hi, i'm kara. if you asked me a year ago if i thought i would be making sourdough bread... my answer would be hell. no.
i am no baker. honestly, i hated it. too exact. too time consuming. all the excuses to hate it.
but, i am here to tell you... if i can do it, you can.
no really, that is saying a lot.
what i want you to know:
1. it is not as needy as you think it is. i promise.
educate yourself on the simple ins and outs. know how it works and have grace with yourself.
2. it can be super relaxing.
i usually spend thee most time working on my sourdough after my baby goes to bed. the lights are dim. it's just me and thee dough boi.
3. you can pick & choose when you want to do it.
forget to feed your starter? oops, me too. the starter has grace with you, so you too need to give yourself grace. just pick up where you left off.
all this to say, do it.
it's worth it.
it's fun.
and it tastes delicious.
xo- kara
ps. not sure where to get a starter? start here.
